Jacques

Jacques started his career in South Africa where he completed his Honours in Quantity Surveying at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. For the first part of his career he worked for professional QS consultancy firms with work ranging across many sectors of the construction industry, gaining experience in both the private-and public sectors. His involvement in shopping centres, office blocks, schools, hospitals, high-end housing and social housing includes international exposure in projects from Tanzania for The Coca-Cola Company South Africa and now based in New Zealand which is his new home. His exposure to various large scale projects in all sectors of the industry from an early stage in his career, has allowed him to adapt to different working environments and to deal with many types of clients.

In 2016, Jacques moved to New Zealand with my Wife, Carli, to contribute to the country’s development and growth. He is a person of integrity who enjoys contributing to a successful team performance. His best characteristics are apparent when interacting with people, through portraying a confident, professional and friendly persona. He is a hard-working individual and has the ability to remain calm under pressure. He sets high standards for himself, enabling him to deliver high quality work, and is continuously challenging himself to expand his knowledge and learning new skills.
