Charles

Charles gained his Bachelor of Construction in Quantity Surveying from Christchurch Institute of Technology after initially studying accounting and management at Lincoln University. He worked his way through university on building sites so has an excellent understanding of the building and construction process.

Throughout his career as a QS, Charles has been involved in a wide range of projects including Civil and Infrastructural works, feasibility assessments, Government contracts and Construction of new buildings. He also spent time working with the rebuild of Christchurch, including Earthquake repairs, refurbishments of existing office fit outs, and residential buildings.

Charles has built his career in large corporates in New Zealand and gained international exposure in commercial construction in Malaysia. He like many, believes the future of construction to meet demands of a rapidly growing population and scarcity of land is in density.
