Michael

Michael has 20 years’ experience in Business Management, Financial Planning and Retail Development (overlapping) with 30 years’ experience in Demolition, Building and Construction industry in South Africa, UK and NZ. He started in the residential space building high end homes, Group Housing Developments & Apartment Blocks running all project and site aspects including design & Build. He has run multiple projects concurrently including liaising with clients, subcontractors, consultants etc. In recent years moved full time into the Commercial Construction.

Michael moved to NZ 6 years ago during the major Earthquakes and spent 2 & 1/2 years in Christchurch working on earthquake rebuilds which included the award winning Palms Shopping Mall restoration and 2x New ASB Banks. He then moved to Auckland and worked on numerous high end Commercial projects in Sky City and Auckland area including LSG Sky Chefs at the Airport, most recently completing the project management construction on a large new Design & Build Head Office & Warehouse for Transnet.

Michael comes highly regarded and recommended in the commercial space and will add huge value to our Commercial residential division of Build Partners.

Of particular value will be his capability and professional methodology in programming, Health and Safety and management of subcontractor relationships. All in all he is a good bloke according to his peers!
